"I travel all the way from the Bronx to this location because it’s the only place I can find the specialized food my rescue dog needs for his leaky gut. Because it's a premium product, I use it as a topper to supplement the fresh meals I make for him from scratch. ​While I’m grateful they carry such a specific item, the customer service could use a serious upgrade. When I asked a clerk when they’d have more in stock, I was essentially told it 'wasn't my business.' It’s disappointing to make a long trip for a vital health item only to be met with that kind of attitude from the staff. I’ll keep coming for the food my dog needs, but I hope the management addresses the lack of professionalism."

"I just want to state some facts I experienced at Happy Paws. My first impressions were very positive, but ... My dog - whom I adopted only a month prior to bringing him to the doggy daycare - was accepted after clearly informing the staff of his adoption date and of course sharing his up to date medical records. He wound up getting very sick with broncopneumonia a week later, a day after his second full day at the doggy daycare. I immediately notified the staff via email because I was very concerned about the other dogs my dog had spend the day with. They reached out to me but showed no concern about my dog and also didn't mention anything to me about informing the dog owners of the dog that were with my dog. I later spoke with the one of the assistant managers who explained the policies to which are as follows - the area gets cleaned and disinfected and the area is not being used for 3 days (I walked by the next day and the area was still in use) - 3 days after being notified that a dog was sick they follow up with the dog owner to see how the dog is doing (I never received that phone call) - I was also told that my dog should not have been accepted to the daycare so early after adoption. I explained that I am a first time dog owner and I look to the experts for guidance ... Just beware."

"Could not be more satisfied with my experience at Happy Paws. The staff are incredibly attentive and careful with our furry loved ones. As a very busy, solo dog parent with an anxious rescue that is not ready to stay home alone, I heavily rely on their daycare services. Every staff member has treated my pup like one of their own and I feel that the separate small and large dog play areas are very safe. They also have frequent social events for regular clients (see photos below from a birthday party) that are so much fun! At the end of the day my dog is exhausted and I know it’s from having so much fun at Happy Paws! Grooming services are great, well-priced, and timely. Bonus: they have a vast array of products in case you need any last minute items. Excellent hours, especially for us that can’t get out of the office at 5pm every day. Happy Paws is our home away from home."

"I absolutely love Happy Paws! I have been taking my dog, Cocoa, there for the last 9 months and I am so happy to have found a community that cares for her as much as I do. I take Cocoa there for grooming, daycare, and over night boarding. I was really hesitant about taking my dog to daycare as she was a covid puppy who was used to being with me 24/7. The happy paws staff listened to my concerns and worked with Cocoa so that she would feel confident in the new environment. She now loves going to daycare to play with her friends and she adores the happy paws staff! I love that they give me photo updates throughout the day and an end of day report card discussing her behavior and who she played with. They also put on events for the dogs and humans that include photo ops, food, and enrichments activities! The attention to detail and fun touches really sets them apart. I can tell they really love Cocoa and all of their resident dogs. I would recommend Happy Paws to anyone looking for a new daycare for their pup!"
